The 2011 Audi S7 has been spied again during testing on the Nurburgring race track. Unfortunately, the spy images show only a heavily camouflaged 2011 Audi S7 and leave a lot of room for interpretation. However, a few design cues of the more performance oriented 2011 Audi S7 can still be distinguished through the black and white psychedelic vinyl wrap. The 2011 Audi S7 will have a more aggressive front fascia with a re-designed bumper and larger air intakes. The rear of the 2011 Audi S7 shows the meaning quad exhaust pipes.

The general proportions of the 2011 Audi S7 will stick to the Audi A7 Sportback Concept, with various modifications to make it more market friendly of course.
The 2011 Audi S7 is expected to be powered by a V8 engine developing around 500 hp, but it's top speed will probably be limited to 250 km/h.

The 2011 Audi S7 price is not known yet, but the car is expected to be premiered at the Moscow Auto Show in August.

Audi to Introduce Smartphone Roadside Assistance App in U.S.

The Audi of America Roadside Assistance uses a team of dedicated customer service professionals with a nationwide towing network to bring Audi customers assistance. Audi includes complimentary 24/7 roadside assistance on all new Audi models sold in the United States and Puerto Rico for four years of upon delivery or warranty activation. Owners of older models can use the Audi Roadside App, but Allstate roadside service fees would apply.

The Audi Roadside App offers the following features:

  • Vehicle registration - Drivers provide their Audi vehicle identification number (VIN) and some basic personal information to register the App with their customer information on file. This lets Audi Roadside Services know who the customer is when he or she requests service and shortens the time it takes to dispatch service, Audi stated.

  • Audi Roadside Assistance - The driver can select the type of service they require (e.g. jump start, fuel delivery, tire change, or tow) and the App locates the driver via the smartphone's GPS capabilities. Note the driver’s smartphone must have GPS capabilities to use this feature. The assistance request is sent to the Audi Roadside Assistance dispatcher as the call is connected to enable the dispatcher to provide faster service. Once the dispatch is complete, the App captures and stores the dispatch details including the name of the roadside provider en route to the customer and estimated time of arrival.

  • Dealer Locator - For access to dealer information, the Application allows users to search for dealers nearby or in a given city. The App displays the dealer's name, location, hours of operation, and phone number. With one touch, the user can display nearby dealers on a map or immediately call the dealer.

Volkswagen is recalling 5,992 2001-'04 Audi A6, 2003 Audi RS6 and 2002-'03 Audi S6 models because a fuel system flaw could lead to a vehicle fire, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

"The aging of the plastic material in the fuel tank rollover valve combined with bending stress from the aluminum ventilation line to the rollover valve nipple may lead to cracking of the nipple," said NHTSA in its recalls summary of the problem. "If this happens, a fuel leak may result. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could lead to a vehicle fire."

The recall is expected to begin in June. Owners can contact Audi at 1-800-822-2834.

disappointing, it turns out, it's a very nice car to drive, it turns out it Porsche four-door sedan anyway. Porsche and VW parent who has sunk a ton of money into developing the platform that aims to amortize the cost a bit more and looking for ways to expand to other lines within the VW family.

Lamborghini Estoque are shown in the past, and if they decide to go ahead, this is the beginning of it is built. Bentley is a bit 'vague, which may be the Flying Spur is a "sport" four-door. Perhaps this could be down to the Flying Spur on the market a bit.

The first seems to be the Audi A9 which is scheduled for calendar 2013. Although we exercise staging, indications of what the real car will look out. If we had to guess whether it would be to A8, A7 which is the A6, but it is mostly conjecture at this point.

Audi offers 60 percent discount for the British royal family

http://www.indiancarsbikes.in/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/William-and-Harry-with-their-rides-image.jpg
As the world waits with baited breath to witness the wedding of the decade, Audi wants to cash-in on the opportunity and grab the limelight. Audi is offering a discounts to the British royal family on all its cars. The German auto maker has offered 60 percent discount on their cars.

The idea being, to grab as much attention of the people as the paparazzi’s of the world will be converging upon England for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The British Royal family has a collection of Audi’s at the moment. Prince Charles has an Audi A8 and a few Allroads. Prince William drives an Audi S4 while Ms. Middleton has an A3. This would probably explain why Audi is showing interest in the British Royal family wedding.

The A3 Sedan concept is a sleek and aggressive design, sharing familiar Audi cues, but by packing them more densely on the smaller sheetmetal, it manages come across as dynamic and shapely where its larger production siblings are sedate and even plain.

Of course, that purposeful demeanor could have something to do with the 408-horsepower turbocharged five-cylinder under the hood. Driving all four wheels, the concept previews what just might be found in the production RS3 version--should the three-boxer catch the green light.

If the A3 sedan does see the high-pressure sodium lights of a dealer lot, it won't be until later 2012 for the 2013 model year. We'll have more details and live photos--along with the full official details--for you tomorrow.

Audi A5 is due a facelift and our own sources tell us this can are available 2012 as a 2013 model. those self same sources say the automotive are going to be over the standard freshening or P.I. (product improvement) though maybe more or less as in depth as say a B6 to B7 A4. Either way, simply how this freshened A5 can look is up for dialogue though we tend to’ve found one intriguing render from an artist known merely as M style whose portfolio we were sadly unable to seek out via our own supply at Audiblog.nl.

The shot is a remarkable one, taking an RS five press photo and subtly mixing in known future Audi style components like the new grille form, a Sportback Concept vogue lower front fascia and door-mounted mirrors as seen on A7 mules seen in spy photography. we tend to note the burned arches of the RS five stay yet on this automotive.

So how shut is it? solely time can tell that however we’re impressed with how consistent the artist tried to be with Audi style components known nowadays.

As with any good hybrid, the Q5's system can operate via the electric motor, gasoline engine or a combination of both power sources. As such, it combines a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with an electric motor. The gas engine produces 211 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm, while the electric motor chips in with another 45 hp and 156 lb-ft of torque. As a result, the system boasts a net system output of 245 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque when both power sources are giving their all.

In a crossover that weighs less than 2,000 kilograms (and just 130 kg more than the regular Q5), this delivers great performance and surprising fuel economy, with Audi saying the vehicle achieves a European test cycle average of 7.0 litres per 100 km.

The electric side gets its power from a 1.3-kWh battery that operates at 266 volts. It sits in the spare tire well where it does not eat into the usable trunk space - at 29.1 cubic feet with the seats up and 57.3 cu. ft. when folded flat, the Hybrid has the same capacity as its gas-only sibling. The battery relies on regenerative braking to keep it topped up. Down the road, a plug-in derivative will be added.

The net result is a system that is exceptionally well integrated. During the test drive, the system remained invisible to me as it switched between electric, gas and gas/electric modes. Unlike so many hybrids, the gas engine comes to life without the usual stumbling hiccup. Even the idle stop function is seamless - the main electric motor spins the engine to life and matches its rpm with the rest of the system. Likewise, the regenerative braking is effective and, unlike so many hybrids, it boasts some true brake pedal feel.

Up to this point, the 2013 Audi Q7 existed in our imagination, and one person decided to represent it as a drawing. The future Audi Q7 sizzles with inspiration from the existing model, gets LED indicator lamps placed on its bumper, shorter and more sharp-edged headlamps like on the latest Skoda Superb . The trademark Audi grille has evolved into a hexagon (would the 2020 Audi Q7 be a decagon then?) The illustration brings out two vital differences – smaller windows and the abundant, excess fat. There is no telling how a future Audi would look like but from the spyshots and concepts like the Q3 crossover, we can get gather a few hints to determine how the future Audi roster would eventually turn out to look like.

2013 Audi R6

Audi is expanding the “R” badge lineup.Just recently they introduced the R8 V10, in addition there is a Spyder version of the R8 coming soon.

There are lot of rumors circulating around the new “R” lineup. In March Audi spokesperson said that the rumored R4 is not in the company’s product plan. In September news came that Audi might be working on R3, which would be powered by a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and be available in 2013.

In addition to the R3 there is a rumor about the R6, that would be positioned between the R3 and R8. Even though Audi has not confirmed this, it makes lot of sense. To be honest R6 makes more sense than R3. As R3 would compete with the TT, then R6 would be Audi’s alternative to Cayman.

The official details for the new Audi A6 aren’t even cold yet and already we are hearing ripples of rumors about different versions of the luxury sedan. It’s only natural that the company will follow the A6 with an S and RS (Renn Sport) version for it, so these rumors are more fact than fiction. However, while the RS version won’t be unveiled until about another two years, many people are too geeked up about it to wait that long, and this fresh rendering is proof of that.

Besides receiving an impressive exterior update inspired by the latest A7 Sportback and an even sportier interior with higher quality materials, the Audi RS6 sports sedan will also be built on the new MLP platform (structured to provide better weight distribution) that will help reduce the total weight by aprox. 220 lbs.

Also, the new RS6 will drop the current V10 engine in favor of a new twin turbo 4-liter V8 engine that will deliver the same performance numbers as the engine it replaces.

So, how did everyone like seeing the E-Tron Detroit Showcar when it debuted at the Detroit Motor Show? How would everyone like to see a roadster version grace the show floor at the Paris Auto Show? That’s right, rumor has it that Audi will be bringing a roadster version of the the 2-seater concept most commonly dubbed as the R4. It looks like the Americans got a coupe version while Europe Audi will see a roadster version, bringing all of us a step closer to the production version of the concept.

The production version will be either an electric model, or a mid-engine competitor for the Porsche Boxster. The Detroit concept was powered by two electric motors with a combined output of 204 HP and 1954.54 lb-ft of torque. The concept can sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in only 5.9 seconds and reach a top speed limited to 155 MPH. It was dominated by their signature super car grill as well as a pair of large vertical air intakes and a matrix LEDs to make up the headlights just like the R8.

We like calling it the R4 because, well, the name just fits, but, truth be told, we don’t really know what name the small sports car will actually come equipped with. The R4, unfortunately, was already taken by Renault for a hatchback they produced from 1961 and 1994. Anyone want to take a stab at possible names?
