AVUS Performance has released a customized version of the Audi A4 Avant and renamed it the A4 Avant Black Arrow. The German tuning firm kept the stock motor set which is a 2.7-liter turbo diesel engine. Tweaking the engine with their Stage 1 ECU tuning upgrade they were able to obtain 230 hp and 358 ft lbs of torque. Factory numbers from Audi show 190 hp with 295 ft lbs of torque. AVUS also offers performance kits for the 2.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI diesel versions. The exterior of the car was painted all black, hence the name Black Arrow, and several other modifications were included.

AVUS Performance installed a suspension kit that lowered the car, and included 21″ lightweight alloy wheels with a glossy black finish. The black wheels with matching paint definitely gives the vehicle a stealth and aggressive look. Pricing has not been released yet by AVUS for their Audi A4 Avant Black Arrow.

Auto Zeitung article about the forthcoming Audi A4 is a rumor swirling in Audi Blog on the editorial on the table A4 of 2014. It is obviously still very early to obtain security but we want this rumor so you do not remember.

- Delivery date: not earlier than spring 2014
- The single frame grill is not as emphatic and impressive, it seems to go more in width
- The length of the A4 will be little or no change (4.70 meters)
- It uses the length modular construction system cabinets (MLB of the VW group of cars with longitudinally mounted engines)
- About 2cm longer and slightly lower gauge coach
- Much lighter than the current A4: there is 150 kilograms (plastic seat backs, trunk bottom of honeycomb polyurethane, magnesium new building parts, engines with smaller displacement, high-strength steels and aluminum with new connection technologies)
- There will be a hybrid A4
- New standards in comfort (drive select is more sensitive and respond faster)
- New electromechanical steering system that consumes power only when needed
- New 2.0 4-cylinder turbo diesel double of the VW group with 180 to 240 hp. These were the 6-cylinder diesel models can redeem
- Like, slip 'possible about the 1.6 TDI with 120 hp
- The petrol versions, the 1.4 with turbo-compressor 170 hp with the 1.8 with 160 hp to replace
- Start-stop-automatic with all engines available
- New "power" S-tronic, which then can handle up to 500 Nm.

A definite release date has not been announced for the 2012 Audi A4. However, it will probably make its debut in the fall of 2011 - September or October are the two most likely months.

As always, many rumors have been swirling around about changes to the 2012 Audi A4’s body style. A mid-cycle update wouldn’t be surprising for this vehicle, so drivers should be on the lookout for a slightly revamped A4 for 2012.

In terms of performance, the 2012 Audi A4 should excel just as its predecessors have. Primarily, the A4 is prized for its responsiveness and for its exceptional handling. An optional 8-speed automatic transmission was introduced with the 2011 model year and should enhance the A4’s performance. When it comes to reliability, a four-year, 50,000-mile warranty with roadside assistance is included with the A4.

One free maintenance appointment has been included with past A4s, and should be offered with the 2012 model as well; the same is true of the 12-year rust warranty. Resale values for Audi A4s have always been great, so the 2012 A4 is sure to be a worthwhile investment.

The Audi A4 has always excelled in terms of safety; the 2012 Audi A4 is sure to continue that tradition. Impeccable crash test scores have always been par for the course with the A4 and should keep safety-conscious drivers happy. A huge range of airbags are included in the A4, including side head curtain airbags, front and front-seat side airbags and even rear-seat side airbags. Additional safety features that you can expect with the 2012 Audi A4 include traction control, stability control and antilock brakes.
